Having a great track record of 52 glorious years in the scooter segment since 1960, one of the leading two wheeler companies Yamaha has revealed its latest model in the line. Yamaha Ray was launched grandly at a function held at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza on April 8, Monday. The company believes the new scooty is destined to give continuity to their prestigious history.
At the event, Mr. Sho Fushimi, Marketing & Sales Division, South Asia Group, handed over the key of Yamaha Ray to the newly appointed Goodwill Ambassador model/actress Namrata Shrestha.
Prior to the grand launch, Yamaha Ray was tested for six months to see whether the scooty was suitable for roads in Nepal.
With a mileage of 40+ kmph, Yamaha Ray is said to offer best in class acceleration, easy handling & maneuverability and good fuel efficiency. Other special features include: Comfortable Seat with Grab Bar, Under Seat Storage, Dynamic Headlight, Crystal Lens Panel, Longer Rear Fender, Stylish Taillight, Telescopic Suspension, Inner Box, and Easy Leg Shield.
According to Morang Auto Works (M.A.W.) Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. the authorized distributor of Yamaha 2-wheelers in Nepal, Yamaha Ray is now available in all the Yamaha showrooms spread across the country. For the launching period, the price is fixed at Rs. 1, 58,900/-.
