Walk for Nepal Dallas took place at Bachman Lake Park in Dallas on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Organized by Nepali youths living around DFW Metroplex and administered by Nepal ko Yuwa, the walkathon raised $9,918 collected by 226 registered walkers for five different Nepali non-profit organizations. The event also featured face painting by Anita Maharjan and performances by local Nepali artists — Nisarga band, Rashik Aryal, KB and Dharane Bikash.
