Two teenagers who helped their friend rape his landlord´s 12-year-old daughter and also made an MMS clip of the inhumane act were released on bail by the District Court on Thursday (May 22, 2014).

Rajesh Kumar Shah,17, of Pato VDC-4 and Santosh Yadav,17, of Banainiya VDC-8 of Saptari district were released on a bail of Rs. 15,000 each as per the order of District Judge Kamal Prasad Pokharel.

The main culprit Brahma Shaha,18 of Pato VDC-1 is at large and the court issued an arrest warrant against him.

The duo had been arrested following a complaint by the girl´s mother on April 25.

Rajesh and Santosh allegedly arranged the room and also guarded the premises while Brahma Shaha carried out the heinous act. In the process, the duo also recorded the act in their mobile phone.
