Title of Miss Teen Nepal Goes To Astha Shrestha

The 10th Republica Miss Teen Nepal, organized by Kathmandu Jaycees (KJC), was held at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi on Wednesday. And beating all the other 17 contestants, Astha Shrestha walked the crown.

Her answer to the final question, as to what her message would be to the citizens of Nepal, won her the coveted title. The 19-year-old food technology student from Balaju answered saying, “We need to rise and fight and make Nepal a symbol of peace and prosperity.” Astha was also declared Miss Personality and upon winning the crown, has been appointed as the National Green Ambassador for KJC.

17-year-old Paridhi Sharma of Shantinagar took the place for the first runner-up, while the second runner-up title went to Shristi Saud, 18 from Baneshwar.

Paridhi also won the Miss Talent and Miss Popular titles whereas the sub contest for Miss Friendship was won by Shristi.
