Twenty beautiful and talented finalists will vie to be crowned Miss Nepal US 2013 this August 17th. With it’s recognizable unisphere landmark, the Queens Theater in Flushing Meadows is an appropriate venue for this cross-cultural gala. Culling the talents of the Nepali community should prove to make for a fun-filled cultural experience when the pageant returns to New York City for its third year. The organizing team hopes to bring new energy and excitement with former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba choreographing the pageant, runway model and TV personality Maytee Martinez as modeling coach, and contestants donning fashions from top Nepali designer Biswo Gautam.
The pageant is conceived to empower young Nepali-American women between the ages of 18-26 with scholarships and profession opportunities while promoting Nepali culture within the US through fashion, costume, dance and music.
Join us this August to celebrate your heritage and to cheer on your favorite finalist or as a contestant yourself.
