TexasNepal.com is organizing a free photo/video shoot on Sunday, February 27, 2011 featuring Newari cultural Dress at the cultural hall of Indreni Cultural Association in Irving.
The event is free and open to everyone and we would like to request interested Nepali community members to attend the event and help us document our cultural dresses. Please bring your own dress.
This project of documenting traditional ethnic Nepali dresses is aimed to educate everyone about our cultural dresses as well as promoting Visit Nepal Year 2011.
Photos and video shot at the event will be used to make a short documentary about Newari dress and will be published on our website.
We will be organizing more such events in coming months where we will be shooting photos and video featuring various other Nepali ethnic cultural dresses.
Please write to us at [email protected] if you are interested in participating at this event or please RSVP to this event on Facebook.
