Excitement of Nhu Daya Bhintuna 1134 & Mha Puja!
Today, the fourth day of Tihar, saw some of the events that are looked forward to during the festival. Along with Gobardhan Puja, Mha Puja and the arrival of the new year Nepal Sambat 1134 were also observed throughout the country.

The New Year of Nepal Sambat 1132 was welcomed by organizing various programmes across the country, on Thursday, 27th October.
Nepal Sambat to be official?
The government has decided to accredit Nepal Sambat as a government calendar, and formed a three-member task force to study how the lunar calendar used by the Newar community, primarily in the Capital Valley, can be used in the government offices.
