Manakama Cable Car Service Opened From Today
The Manakamana Cable Car has come into operation from today (June 7, 2015) after long halt due to April 25 earthquake, although there would not be regular worship in the Manakamana Temple. The cable car that came into operation from May 10 was closed after the powerful aftershocks on May 12.

Schools Finally Resume After Earthquake
The schools which have remained closed after the massive earthquake have come into operation from Sunday. The schools were closed down for a month following the April 25 earthquake and May 12 powerful tremor.
Impact Nepal Earthquake Relief – ‘Making a Transitional Shelter’
Impact Nepal will distribute CGI-Sheet based Transitional Shelters to 650 households of Kalika Village in Sindhupalchowk. These shelters, costing around $150 each, will provide protection from the upcoming monsoon and is highly durable to last a few years. The locals were given training on how to build the shelter themselves. Impact Nepal also distributed tarps and blankets to everyone.This video demonstrates the building steps of these shelters.

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala today participated in the debris removing campaign undergoing at the Basantapur Durbar Square area, which was demaged by recent ‘Gorkha’ quake. The area is enlisted in the list of World Heritage Sites.
Government Decides To Convene Donor Agencies Conference On June 25
The government is going to organise the conference with an objective of mobilising financial aid for the reconstruction of the different damaged infrastructures due to the ‘Gorkha’ quake and its aftershocks and for resettlement of the quake survivors.
