The German government has agreed to provide a total grant assistance of Rs 3.46 billion to the government of Nepal. The government of Germany provided the assistance as a special commitment for Recovery Programme in the aftermath of devastating April 25 earthquake.
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has urged one and all to be united with passion to face the devastation occurred due to the quake. The Prime Minister said that the government has adopted the one-door system in the rescue and relief task in order to provide the relief materials to all quake survivors in the affected districts.
TexasNepal Team is collecting donation to help Bishnu Maya Karki pay for the treatment of her son Suresh Karki who is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in Pokhara after both of his kidneys stopped functioning normally.
Yeti Airlines is donating Rs 4 per flight ticket to Child Workers´ in Nepal (CWIN), United Mission to Nepal (UMN), Centre for Victims of Torture Nepal (CVICT) and Save the Children. The airlines handed over a cheque of Rs 210,141 each to these organizations which are working in the field of child rights, human rights, poverty alleviation, and empowerment among others.
