To mark the 37th World Tourism Day, a felicitation event was held at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Bhrikuti Mandap on September 27, 2016. It was jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), NTB, All tourism associations and tourism stakeholders and NGOs.

Wednesday, May 21, 2014 witnessed the Pulsar Sports Award 2070 take place where legendary athlete Baikuntha Manandhar was declared the winner of the life time achievement award of the on Wednesday. Among other winners were cricketer Sharad Vesawkar and para athlete Yadav Kunwar were named special and para athlete award winners.
