Nepal’s biggest information technology and entertainment expo, the Subisu 22nd CAN Info-Tech 2016 kicked off on January 29, Friday. Several companies and institutions have launched new products and lucrative offers to attract crowd at the expo.
Almost all the companies participating at the event have been offering new products, discounts or gift hampers to the customers .
Sagar Infosys, authorized dealer of Brother in Nepal, has launched multi-functional DCP T 300 ink-tank printer. The printer allows printing, scanning and photocopy, according to the company. It provides ultra high yield of 6,000 pages for black ink and 5,000 pages for color ink. It is priced at Rs 25,500.The company is also providing TotoLink’s 150 Mbps and 300 Mbps routers at discounted price of Rs 3,200 and Rs 4,900, respectively.
Similarly, RainMakers Animation Academy has announced to provide jobs to 10 students who complete animation course at the academy according to national daily Republica. Tapas Joshi, managing director of the company, said that the students will be paid more than Rs 20,000 per month after successfully completing their course.
Other offers include Chinese smartphone company Huwaei providing discounts of 5 to 10 percent on all its models as well as giving away free handsets every day to two people who visit their stalls and fill up a designated form; InfoTech Nepal, the authorized dealer of Touchkon Mobiles, providing 10 percent discount on its new phones — M605g, M509, T707s and B25, and Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF)’s 15 percent discount on its short term courses among others.
The exhibition, which is being held at Bhrikuti Mandap Hall, concludes on February 3, 2016, Wednesday.
