SongsNepal’s Online Nepali Acoustic Song Competition started from March 30 and now after four months, its results have finally been revealed! The winner of the worldwide Nepali singing competition is Anisha Maharjan from the USA! Standing second after Anisha is Sailu Rai of Pokhara. Rushan Shrestha was also declared as one of the winners. He became the ‘Most Popular’ participant walking away with a guitar signed by Bryan Adams.

The winners were announced at Song Competition and Royalty Launch Program organized by Songs Nepal Acoustic Festival and held at Skewers, Pulchowk. Sources say that Anisha Maharjan and Sailu Rai came all the way from USA and Pokhara respectively just to attend this event.

Talking about her sweet victory, Anisha expressed, “I’m so extremely happy! I feel like I’m experiencing an unbelievable moment. All the credit goes to SongsNepal,  thanks a lot for this platform.” She further added that she has plans of releasing an album which she’s currently working on.
