Shesh Ghale based on Australia has been elected as presidential of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) on Monday.
A total of 510 votes were in favor of Ghale against his rival Tenzi Sherpa with just 280 votes.
Ghale and Sherpa contested for the post after Ram Pratap Thapa, Hitman Gurung, and Rameshwor Shah pulled out their candidacies from the race.
Around 1,300 were eligible to cast their votes to elect new NRNA leadership for the next two years.
