A post with photos of a boy suffering from a rare skin disease has been circulating on social media lately. It was uploaded by an individual who came across the child while travelling to Bhimghite VDC in Baglung district as an effort to find help for the boy. The very story has now been followed up by the national daily The Kathmandu Post shedding more light on the matter.
The paper reported that Ramesh Darji suffers from a rare fungal disease and seeks help to cure his rare condition. Parents of 11-year-old boy, whose face has been ravaged by unusual skin fungus, have pleaded help to cure their child’s medical condition. They have already taken him to the Baglung district hospital twice and once to a hospital in Butwal for treatment but in vain.
Ramesh cannot walk or go to school due to his condition, which started right after his birth, Ramesh’s mother Nar Kumari Darji told the paper adding that doctors had said that his treatment was possible in Chitwan but they could not afford to take him there. She also said that his condition was worsening.
For any kind of help, please contact Ramesh’s mother Nar Kumari at 9805207873.
