After three weeks of hard work, training and various activities, the grand finale of the highly anticipated pageant Princess Nepal 2012 took place on October 18, Thursday at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi. 42 talented teenage girls competed for the very first title of Princess Nepal and impressing the judges with her answer, the crown went to Sonakshi Khadka. Suwanta Shah and Miseek Limbu stood as the first and second runners-up respectively.
