Three people have been arrested  on the charge of using the social networking site Facebook to demean a married woman in Pyuthan, Monday (July 7, 2014).

According to the District Police Office, they caught Hir Bahadur Budha Magar and Bikram Budha Magar of Lung-6 and Ekanta Jhankri Magar of Khawang-8 on the charge of committing a cyber crime.

The three reportedly posted on Facebook a naked body of an unknown woman with the head cropped out to include the face of another woman, whose husband runs a foreign employment agency in Ghorahi, Dang.

Apart from the cyber crime, the detainees have also been charged of threatening the couple over telephone, said DSP Dipak Regmi.

As reported by NepalNews.com, the police informed that further investigation into the matter is underway.
