On the occasion of the 65th Democracy Day, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has offered best wishes to fellow Nepalis at home and abroad for their well being and prosperity.
Remembering the day (February 19, 2015) as a historic day that led to the downfall of the oligarchic Rana rule, PM Koirala delivered a public message wishing for happiness, peace and prosperity to all Nepalis. He also pointed the country embarked a new era in the political history of Nepal ushering a democratic system on the day.
Expressing deep sympathy and condolence to the bereaved families of martyrs of the People’s Revolution of 2007 BS, People’s Movement of 2046 BS, People’s Movement of 2064 BS, Madhes movement, the PM has wished for speedy recovery of those who have been injured during the people’s movements.
Likewise, on the occasion of Lhosar festival today, the PM has also wished for good health, long life, happiness, peace, prosperity and progress of the members of the Sherpa community living at home and abroad on the occasion of the great festival of the Sherpa community Lhosar Singh Mo Luklo 2142.
