The vehicle of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai was attacked in Dhangadi on Sunday, January 27. Cadres of opposition parties hurled stones at PM’s ride,  however, the stones did not cause any damage as they hit only the tyres of the vehicle.

The agitating cadres broke through the security cordon and also showed black flags. The prime minister came to Dhangadi from Baitadi district and was on his way to inaugurate the district convention of the UCPN (Maoist) in Dhangadi.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Bhattarai came disembarked from a helicopter at Boratari barrack of Nepal.
