Today, 19th November, saw Kathmandu once again singing to the tunes of MLTR songs. In other words, the capital was rocked by Michael Learns To Rock!!!
Micheal Learns To Rock Live In Nepal, which is the second world-class musical event held in the country, took place at Tundikhel ground and like they promised, the band performed most of their hits from the past two decades. “25 Minutes”, “Paint My Love”, “Actor”, “I’m Gonna Be Around”, “Breaking My Heart”, “Complicated Heart”, the audience enjoyed them all and some others. During the show, the crowd revived their long-lost MLTR fanatic and sang along with their favourite hits, trying their best to remember the lyrics. Performance of the songs “Someday” and “25 Minutes” received even shout out for encore.
MLTR also performed a new song from their upcoming album, whose music video they said would feature clips from the concert!
The event management, in comparison to last time, was much better. Hosted by media personalities Prasan Syangden and former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba, the opening act of the show was musical ensemble Kutumba. They were wonderful as always. The local lineup further included Mt. 8848 and Sabin Rai.
Although comparatively the audience turnout was less than at the Bryan Adams concert, MLTR Live In Nepal can be considered a success for organizer ODC Network execution wise.
