The election committee for NST (Nepalese Society Texas) has announced the details of the election to be held on September 20, 2009. NST members are elected every two years by voting from NST members living in and around DFW Metroplex. Anybody living in DFW who is of Nepali origin can join NST to vote. There is a membership fee of $10 which can be paid on the day of election and is valid for two year.

1. Must be a member of Nepalese Society, Texas.
2. Must be a Texas Resident with Nepali origin.
3. Must carry a Texas ID / Driver License.
4. Must be 18 years or older
5. Must present the copy of ID along with nomination fee (only money order is accepted)

How to become member of NST?
There will be a membership/registration desk available at the voting site. Anyone who wishes to become a member of NST can become member by filling out the membership form and paying the membership fee ($10.00 for 2 yrs). Please note that $10.00 is not a voting fee, it is the membership fee. Only members of NST can participate in voting process. However membership is not mandatory to join any of NST programs.
