There will be no endearing peace without development, and there will be no development without people who stand together for peace. Hence with the very motto and the ambition of putting together an event that stands for peace, people, and progress, Nepal Music Festival was held at Jawalakhel Ground on September 22, Saturday on the occasion of World Peace Day.
The organizers, Nepal Music Festival, are a non-profit organization that strives to enable the sustainable development of economy and culture in Nepal through the empowerment of local communities and the assistance of people from around the world.
The event saw a number of local and international artistes/bands coming together to perform for Nepal’s development. Our very own acts included Mukti N Revival, Astha Tamang-Maskey, Cobweb, Robin N The Revolution to name a few while 1001 Ways (Switzerland), Parinday Music of Soul (India) and Soul Set (Denmark) were bands that flew from abroad.
All the funds collected from the musical concert are going for their Nepal Music Festival Foundation that will work on the educational and social upliftment and overall development of different remote places and villages across the country.
