Sunday, November 13, 2011 – A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit north eastern part of Gorkha district at around 5:32 am this morning.

According to National Seismological Centre, Dharot was the epicenter of this earthquake. The area is about 50 km north east of Gorkha district headquarters.

Tremor was felt in most part of western Nepal as well as in Kathmandu valley.

There have been no reports of serious damages yet.
