International superstar Jackie Chan is currently in Nepal. Chan flew to the country via Air China and arrived in Kathmandu Tuesday morning (June 9, 2015) at 11:27. He will be staying in Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza at Tahachal. As reported by Setopati.com, the Shanghai Noon actor is here to visit places affected by the devastating earthquake and will distribute relief to the earthquake victims in Lalitpur. The distribution programme is being organised by International Red Cross Society.

According to an article by blogger Lex Limbu, Chan recently attended a Nepal Earthquake Relief Fundraiser in Singapore and made a personal donation of Singapore $100,000. He was also said to be in the process of sending additional supplies and donations of his own to Nepal.

The 61-year-old actor with a social conscience and a generous heart will return to Hong Kong today after completing the programme, reports Ekantipur.com.
