The normal life of Mugu district has been hindered due to continuous snowfall.

The freezing cold triggered by sudden snowfall that began Thursday evening has hit the livelihood at the district headquarters Gamgadi hard, forcing schools and market places to shut down, and also affecting government services.

The snowfall has halted the transportation including the air services in the district.

The VDCs including Rara, Talcha, Pina, Karkiwada, Seri, Khamal have witnessed snowfall that has forced people to stay inside houses and livestock within cowsheds.
