Nepal lost to Pakistan by 122 runs in the 5th Place Play-off Semi-Final of the ICC U-19 World Cup played at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium Fatullah in Bangladesh on Tuesday (February 9, 2016).
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Pakistan had set a target of 259 runs for Nepal. Nepal was bowled out for 136 runs in 43. 5 overs.
Hasan Mohsin of Pakistan scored the highest runs of 117 studded with eight fours and three sixes off 106 balls. Mohsin claimed four wickets giving away 42 runs, while Irfan Liaqat and Saif Ali grabbed two wickets each conceding 22 and four runs respectively. Saif Badar made 88 runs including six fours and one six facing 118 balls while Salman Fayyaz contributed 14 runs off eight balls.
