An annual event with the objective to promote Blues music, the fifth edition of The Himalayan Blues Festival came to a close on Saturday, November 12 at Patan Museum. The three-day musical extravaganza, which kicked off on November 10, witnessed a number of international as well as local artists performing at various venues around the capital.

Mukti And Revival, Monkey Temple, Izzy and Chris from the US, Jimi Honcking from Australia, Sweden’s Bert Deivert were some of the acts that took to the stage. They entertained the crowd with their form of Blues music and its sub-genres along with a bit of folk music.

The Himalayan Blues Festival ’11 was presented by Blue Music Room.
