Recently I had written an article on Parakhi blogs titled I’m Sorry. It received a good amount of Likes on Parakhi and comments on Sajha. Some of the comments on Sajha read as follows:The blogger raises a valid issue – that of customer services and truth be told, a huge majority of businesses fall short when it comes to providing quality service.
It is not always easy preaching or giving advices in Nepal, I get it but if we are following that road to perfection, we all have to do a better job than just be a mere spectator to all the ongoing odds.Going along with the I’m Sorry blog, I wanted to revisit why reviews are important.
For a business, reviews from customers help in marketing their business to other potential clients and the feedback from customers can provide insights for businesses. For customers, reviews help in knowing more about the business, what items are best to try and hear what other customers had to say.
The concept of online reviews in Nepal has its own challenges. Problems of load shedding, internet access, and reliance on mostly word of mouth among others are the major challenges to the concept of online reviews. However with the increasing access to mobile phones to retrieve information, rise in the disposable income of young adults to eat out and awareness of reviews, users can utilize the information on Parakhi to make their lives more manageable.
