Former Prime Minister, Surya Bahadur Thapa has been admitted to Norvic Hospital after he was take ill Monday evening. According to his aide, Thapa was rushed to Norvic Hospital due to high blood pressure. The doctors admitted Thapa for observation and he is reported to be in a stable condition.Thapa is the Chairman of the Rastriya Janashakti Party. He has been the Prime Minister of Nepal five times in a political career spanning 50 years. Thapa first became Prime Minister in 1966 at the age of 38. He has served under three different Shah kings during the Panchayat regime and after the democratic movement in Nepal in the 90s. Thapa is 83.
