The theatrical trailer for one of the most awaited Nepali movies Uma was revealed on Wednesday, March 20. It was launched amidst a number of personalities from media and the film industry at an event which took place at Mandala Theatre, Anamnagar. The ceremony also saw a live performance by Abhaya and The Steam Injuns who have provided the song “Siri Ma Siri” to the soundtrack of the film.

Scheduled to be released on May 24 (Jestha 10), Uma has been directed by Tsering Rhitar Sherpa and boasts a stellar cast  featuring Mithila Sharma, Saugat Malla, Richa Sharma, and Dayahang Rai among others.
