A fire, that broke out in Nepal Telecom Training Center on Monday night (June 23, 2014), caused a damage worth two crores.
Technical investigation has shown that the mishap occurred due to an electric short that took place in the office of CDMA department located on the seventh floor of the building. The fire was first noticed by a moving police van and the policemen later called fire brigade. The police and firemen brought the blaze under control together.
Seven vehicles from the fire brigade were used to bring the fire under control. According to director of CDMA department Narahari Das Joshi, a team has been formed for internal investigation. Further investigation is taking place.
