This month we are presenting Miss Bhabika Joshi, a young aspiring Nepali writer from Keller, Texas who has already penned a novel at a very young age of fourteen. Born in Kathmandu, Bhabika moved to the United States with her parents when she was eight years old. She is a freshman at Fossil Ridge High School and is taking advanced classes to prepare herself to get into Harvard. She aims to be an oral surgeon and keep writing as well. She says, “I like doing Math because there is always one and only one answer to every question.”
She started writing at a very early age of six. She told us about her first writing which was a poem about her mother. She got inspired to write from her maternal and paternal grandfathers, who were both published authors in Nepal.
