The song ‘Jadoo’ is taken from the upcoming Nepali film Manjari whose release date remains uncertain after the film censor board ordered for some scenes to be removed from the movie claiming them to be explicit. Performed by Sanup Poudel and Pushpa Gurung, the duet has been composed by Kali Prashad Baskota and written by Baskota and Sabin “Ektaare”.

Generally, the song comes out as a fine job but you won’t feel the same once you realize that it shares more than just a few similarities with the Hindi song ‘Saibo’ from the movie Shor In The City.  To put it bluntly, it’s a total rip off. Considering the renowned personalities working behind the single, you may want to convince yourself that they’ve bought the copyright but I doubt that.
