The concert Deep Purple Live In Nepal, scheduled to be held this Friday (March 15, 2013) at Dashrath Stadium, has been put on hold as reported by Nagariknews.com.
The legendary rock band, who were supposed to land in Kathmandu on Wednesday (March 13, 2013), are now flying straight to London from Singapore suspecting the ongoing bandhs will obstruct their show. Organised by Jet Set PR and ODC Entertainment, the concert has now been postponed until further notice according to Satish Singh of JPR Events.
Director turned actor and singer Farhan Akhtar was also scheduled to perform with the international heavy metal band. Officials from Republica, the official print media for the event, confirmed that a notice will be published as to when the concert will take place.
