Walk for Ama Buwa is a platform for bringing Nepalese community together living in DFW area in order to raise funds by walking to benefit Ama and Buwa in Nepal.
The goal of this program is to raise funds for our underprivileged Ama Buwa in Nepal who are suffering from cold winter by distributing them “sirakh” that would help them to survive. Dallas Everest Lions Club cares for our elderly parents who are not only suffering from crisis of old age but are also struggling to survive from the cold winter in Nepal. Walk for Ama Buwa has been organized by Dallas Everest Lions Club in Irving, Texas to be held on Feb 3, 2013, at 11:00 AM in Campion Trail, Irving, TX. Walk will be for 1 to 3 miles. Your participation makes a difference to save the life.
Your participation:
Please come with $5 dollars and we will provide you a T-shirt to walk a mile with us. The money collected will be donated to make Nepali sirak for old people who cannot afford to buy warm blankets in this cold winter.
