The biggest musical extravaganza of the year took place! Hero 17th Hits FM Music Awards 2070 was held on Friday (20th Sept 2013) at Army Officers Club, Sundhara and once again it was a big milestone for Hits Nepal Pvt. Ltd, the organisers of the event.
Hosted by Hits FM 91.2 RJ Devashish Sharma, the show was kicked by giant traditional instrumental ensemble Kutumba who teamed up with guitar great Hari Maharjan for some amazing numbers. Then were other performances byRusty Nails, Bishnu Chemjong, What The Funk and Joint Family Internationale who walked away with three trophies for Best New Artist, Best Performance By A Group or Duo With Vocal and Best Pop Composition. Other Big winners were Mukti & Revival who also won three accolades for Best Rock Composition, Best Rock Vocal Performance and Pop/Rock Album of The Year. The single ‘Paniko Phoka Jastai’ also won four different honours.
