Schools Finally Resume After Earthquake
The schools which have remained closed after the massive earthquake have come into operation from Sunday. The schools were closed down for a month following the April 25 earthquake and May 12 powerful tremor.

Nepal Earthquake Death Toll Crosses 8500
The death toll from the April 25 devastating earthquake that was followed by several aftershocks including the powerful one on May 12 has reached 8,567 as of Sunday morning (May 17), according to the latest updates made available by the Ministry of Home affairs.

Load-shedding To Be Reduced by 2 hours From Saturday
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) today announced to reduce load-shedding to 47 hours weekly to be effective from Saturday, April 25, 2015 (Baisakh 12, 2072).
