Non Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) organized a dinner party featuring popular Nepali singer Deepak Bajracharya along with Nalina Chitrakar at a fundraiser function in Irving, Texas on Saturday, June 18, 2011.
The event was aimed at collecting donation for Devghat Bridhasram, run by NRNA in Nepal. Anjan Shrestha, Dallas representative of NRNA, gave a presentation about Devghat Bidhasram and how NRNA is helping run the institution with donations collected from Non-resident Nepalis at various functions. Deepak Bajracharya and Nalina Chitrakar performed their hits and got everyone dancing as DJ Prashant did the mixing of tunes.
All proceeds from the event will go to funding of Devghat Bidhasram.
